It is suitable for rigid plastics, metal and ceramic. It provides a durable, tough, hardwearing finish and is chip and petrol resistant. It may be used in conjunction with cellulose paints and primers if desired, but the best results will be obtained by a prior application of Hycote primer as this will help prevent rust, give a smoother finish, provide a stronger adhesion for the top coat and set the base for the best colour match.
